Pete and Laurie are one example in scripture of what God truly intends Christian married couples to be—a package deal. They are a true team working in tandem for the Lord. What they do, they do together.
It’s easy to see that their lives are much more fulfilling and fruitful because they were working together, using their talents and gifts in their joint calling as followers of Christ. They are able to act as a team because they see themselves as a team.
One of their little secrets is, Satan knows that you and your spouse have the ability to be a spiritual super-couple and he will do anything to stop that from happening. The enemy will bring division, confusion, disappointment and conflict into your marriage to distract you from fulfilling your joint mission on this earth. Separate, you may each be able to accomplish some things for God, but together your power is multiplied. When you see fiery darts being lodged at your marriage, it is not coincidental. It is a strategically planned attack by the enemy. You don’t have to stand for it, Pete and Laurie don't.

Pete and Laurie have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of helping others heal, grow, change and become whole again. With their purchase of Lorrayne Ranch, they knew that they weren’t just making a purchase for themselves, but rather for others. Their fun and endearing spirits are matched only by their incredibly generous hearts. Pete and Laurie have graciously decided to donate a portion of every retreat proceed to the J146 Foundation in an effort to help fight against sex trafficking. Their only hope for the ranch is that every guest experiences joy, healing, rest, recovery and fun while staying on the property, and that their lives can help make a powerful impact on many others!
